Madrid auténtico is a 4 day programme that takes you into the hart of real and authentic Madrid. Together with your bilingual guide you will discover the best parts of the city and the region. In addition you can also participate in two language classes that will teach some real Madrid Spanish to enjoy the Spanish version of ‘the city that never sleeps’ to the fullest.

Madrid is a city that is truly loved and enjoyed by its inhabitants and visitors. One of the reasons for this is the abundance of superbly cared for parks and squares, which offer calmness and relaxation in the heart of a great metropolitan city. But if there were something that characterizes Madrid most it would be the contagious and deep-rooted passion for life of the ‘Madrileños’. This passion can be noticed in the kindness and hospitality of the population and people will be happy to share their passion for life with you in their bars, on the numerous terraces or just on the street.

Its busy avenues, bustling squares, great buildings and many monuments will most certainly impress you, but there is a lot more to discover in this fascinating city. Hidden between the large avenues there are many small streets en squares filled with boutiques, small local shops, interesting galleries and some of the best-kept secret bars. Here is where you will find real Madrid life! 

But what makes this city even more spectacular is the gorgeous scenery and the significant cultural heritage that can be found just outside the city boundary. At just 30 km the impressive Sierra de Guadarrama is located. This National park of outstanding natural beauty is also home to Madrid’s biggest and most important monument; the 16^th century abbey complex of El Escorial. Located at a 30-minute drive from El Escorial we find Segovia, an almost magical city where Roman, Christian and Jewish cultures have left some of Spain’s most important heritage.
